ONLINE CONTENT DIRECTOR
Off The Cuff is looking for a committed individual to join our Executive Board as Assistant Online Content Director. The Online Content Director is essential in growing Off The Cuff’s online presence. As the Online Content Director, one must facilitate collaboration amongst Off The Cuff’s photography, videography, writing and art design departments by overseeing and managing all creative processes for OTC’s website and social media content and is expected to to work very closely with OTC’s Web team and Marketing team to assess what content should be put online and social media platforms. In addition, the Online Content Director should always been thinking of innovative ways to grow Off the Cuff’s brand name by strategizing online campaigns and restructuring/perfecting OTC’s online contributors’ workflow.
The Online Content Director must also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, previous experience in photography, videography, writing and web design, and most importantly, have a consistently positive attitude. This position will begin in the spring semester as Assistant to the Online Content Director, during which time the individual will work closely with the current Online Content Director, GianCarlo Lobo, taking on responsibilities and training which will include: weekly Eboard meetings and workshopping with the rest of eboard, supervising and attending Off The Cuff events, organizing Off The Cuff’s video shoots, hosting Off The Cuff office hours for all staff members, and managing online content.
This position will progress into the full Online Content Director position in the Fall semester of 2022. As such, all applicants must be present on campus for both semesters. Previous experience experience in filmmaking is a plus but not required. The Online Content Director needs to be extremely passionate and interested in working for a publication long term.
